Betty Jo Witt

Mrs. Betty Jo Witt, age 71 of Winnsboro, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009 in Winnsboro. She was born in Klondike on January 13, 1937 to the late Louis Monroe Bangs and Pauline Ellis Bangs. She was a homemaker and member of Sharon Baptist Church. She was a alumni member of the Buckner Orphanage, and visited and sang for the residents of the Winnsboro nursing homes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmus Witt in 1993; and a sister, Joyce Barfield. She is survived by her son, William Witt and wife Patty of Frisco; daughter, Susan Witt of Winnsboro; brothers, Bill Bangs of Dallas, Hulon Bangs of Lake Livingston; sister, Yvonne Turner of Dallas; and one granddaughter, Natalie Marie Witt of Dallas.
