Betty Jean Yelverton

Mrs. Betty Jean Yelverton, age 79 of Mesquite, passed away on Wednesday, March 03, 2010. She was born on Thursday, April 03, 1930 in Levelland, TX to the late Thomas Dee Calvert, Sr. and Gladys Jane Griffis Calvert. She was retired, and Baptist. She was preceded in death by a son; Charles D. Price; husband, Ralph Yelverton; sisters, Wanda Jo Hanson, Mary Zimmerman. She is survived by one daughter, Gail Briggs and husband Gerald of Murphy; brothers, Dee Calvert, Jr. and wife Wanda of Quitman, Harold Calvert and wife Kay of Mesquite; sister, Sandra Cox of Lufkin; three grandchildren, Tracy Fite, Nathan Price, Kelly Reed; four great-grandchildren, Chris Fite, Brenden Fite, Rylie Reed, and James Reed.
