Beverly Jean Plunk

Beverly Jean Plunk, age 63, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on Thursday, March 11, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to the late Howard and Dorothy Durham.

She attended Pilgrim's Rest #2 Baptist Church in Alba, Texas and loved to help with Vacation Bible School.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and a granddaughter, Tara Plunk.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert Plunk of Mineola, Texas; two sons, Mark Plunk of Rowlett, Texas and Larry Plunk of Mineola; a daughter, April Hooten of Garland, Texas; two brothers, Robert Durham of Springfield, Missouri and Ronald Durham of Lake Tawakoni, Texas; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Plunk will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 6 - 8 PM.

Funeral services will be at Pilgrim's Rest #2 Baptist Church on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Robert Durham and Rev. Craig Kearby officiating.
