Bill L. Mcfarlin

Mr. Bill Lee McFarlin, age 86 of Winnsboro, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 in Tyler. Bill was born in Powell, Texas on October 12, 1927 to the late John Watson McFarlin and Jessie Elizabeth Sisk McFarlin. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, attended Lake Fork Baptist Church, and a retired Barber, having worked for many years at Best Barber Shop in Winnsboro. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jean Austin; brother, Stan McFarlin; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Rae McFarlin. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Nonia Dell (Robinson) McFarlin of Winnsboro; son, Billy Ray McFarlin and wife Sherrie of Flint; sisters, Ann Thomas of Houston, Nancy Woodson of Colorado, Mary Elaine Barnett of Bridgeport; three grandchildren, Brent Wood, Staci Wedemeyer, Bryan McFarlin, and nine great-grandchildren.
