Billie Jane Davis

Mrs. Billie Jane Davis died on September 29, 2020 at Hospice of East Texas at the age of 90. She was born on April 21, 1930 to Gus and Ella Creech Cochran. She married Robert Lynn Davis on September 7, 1948. After traveling with the oilfield business they settled in Mineola. They were co-owners of Bankstons Drive In in Mineola. Mrs. Davis was a devoted member of St. Dunston's Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and special niece Cathy Gilaspie. She is survived by her sister Joyce Glau and husband Robert, niece Amber Fudenberg, nephews Bob, Dean and Rockie Glau. Special friends Joann Jones, Barbara Copeland, Pauletta Bonner and Betty Dean. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S St. Hwy 37 Mineola, Texas 75773. Funeral Services will be Monday, October 5, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church 800 N Johnson St, Mineola, TX 75773.
