Billie Ruth Mccarley

Billie Ruth McCarley, age 91, of Argyle, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2024. Billie was born on February 18, 1933, in Culleoka, Texas, to Bill and Susie Tucker. She married the love of her life, Wiley McCarley, on July 4, 1952, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

A dedicated and hardworking woman, Billie served as a Loan Officer for Chicago Title Company, where her professionalism and commitment were deeply appreciated. Beyond her career, Billie was a devoted member of Pine Street Baptist Church, where she found immense joy and purpose in her faith and community.

Billie had a rich array of hobbies and passions that brought joy to her and those around her. She loved sewing, crafting beautiful pieces that were cherished by many. Playing cards with friends and family was a favorite pastime, creating countless memories filled with fun and camaraderie. Above all, her greatest passion was her family, whom she loved unconditionally and with all her heart.

Billie is survived by her loving children, Debra Jones and her husband Shields, and David McCarley and his wife Angie. She is also survived by her dear sisters, Becky Bettis and Bill, and Kathy Monk. Billie’s legacy of love continues through her grandchildren, Amber Willmot and her husband Ryan, Teresa Bachman and her husband Michael, Cody Tarpley, Lindsey Dominguez and her husband Garrett, and Meghan Jones and her husband Colby. She was a proud great-grandmother to Bayli, Logan, Callie, Shyanne, Barrett, and Ryland.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Susie Tucker; husband, Wiley McCarley; her beloved daughter, Rhonda McCarley; brother-in-law Wayne Monk, and her precious grandchild, Kiersten Jones.

Billie Ruth McCarley will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for her family, and the warmth and kindness she extended to all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who were blessed to have known her.
