Billie Thayer Miller

Billie Thayer Miller, age 87 of Winnsboro, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at her home. She was born on December 20, 1924 in Iola, Kansas to the late William Thomas and Edna May Curtis Thayer. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in high school, graduated with a Bachelors degree in library science. She lived in Kansas, Kilgore, Houston, Irving, Dallas, Wylie as well as Washington D.C. She was blessed to visit 49 of the 50 states, and approximately 20 other countries in her time. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Mary Faver, and Margaret Pierce. She is survived by two sons, James Austin of Wylie, Curtis Miller of Winnsboro; daughter, Judy Hennessey Purdy of Dallas; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
