Billie Jane Wright

Billie Jane (Petty) Wright, age 79, of Carthage, Texas, died Tuesday, March 20, 2007, in Carthage, Texas. She had lived in Carthage for four years, moving from Hawkins, Texas. She was a homemaker and business women. She was the former owner of Petty's Restaurant and Motel. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hawkins, Texas. She was the daughter of the late E.T. Petty and the late Ethel (Tipps) Petty who precede her in death as well as, One sister, Frances Martin.

She is survived by one daughter, Martha Strayberry; one brother, Joe Petty of Palestine, Texas; three grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
