Billy B. Barker

Billy B. Barker, age 82 of Gilmer, passed away on Thursday, January 19th, 2017 at Longview Regional. He was born on December 6th, 1934 in Scroggins, to the late Oscar Barker and Eugenia Yancey Barker. He retired after 22 years of service in the U.S. Air Force, and was a retired farmer and member of Pineview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Annie Glasscock Barker and brother, Bura Joe Barker. He is survived by, brother, Dura Don Barker and wife Linda of Rolla, MO; sisters, Inez Howard of Tulsa, OK, Leona George of Wolfe City and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, January 25th, 2017 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 2:00 pm, Rev. Ronny Spence conducting.
