B.C. Fairchild passed away on Wednesday, October 29th, 2014 at the age of 80. He was born in Texarkana, TX on May 8, 1934. His parents were Corine Griffin and Fred Fairchild. B.C. attended Texas High School in Texarkana, and he obtained a Master’s degree in Math and Physics from East Texas State University. B.C. worked at E-Systems in Greenville, TX as a design engineer for 37 years and then retired to Holly Lake Ranch, TX where he enjoyed 20+ years of retirement playing golf and staying active in his local church. B.C. is survived by his wife, Melva Fairchild; daughters and son-in-laws Karen and Gary Murray of Allen, TX; Debi and David Morris of Sulphur Springs, TX; and Deborah and Rob Hilliard of The Colony, TX. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law Scott and Pinky Fairchild of GA; as well as 15 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren. B.C. was preceded in death by his parents and son, David. He will be remembered as a loving father and husband as well as a devoted follower of Christ. A memorial service will be held at Holly Tree Chapel at Holly Lake Ranch on Saturday, November 8th at 10:30am. Any flowers can be sent to Holly Tree Chapel.
