Billy Ray Hairgrove

Billy Ray Hairgrove, age 68, of Mineola, Texas, died Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at ETMC in Tyler, Texas. He was the son of the late Elmer Hairgrove and the late Dorothy (Mayer) Hairgrove. He served in the United States Coast Guard for 20 years and then worked for Chevron for 20 years. Mr. Hairgrove was a member of Lake Country Bible Church.

He is survived by his wife Anita Kay (Poorman) Hairgrove;

Two Daughters, Nancy Hairgrove of Florida and Heather Ryan of Alexandria, Va.; two sons,

Douglas Hairgrove of Florida and Todd Hairgrove of Florida; one sister, Jackie Sorrells of Grand Saline, Texas; four brothers, Elmer Hairgrove, Jr. of Dallas, Texas, Walter Hairgrove of Athens, Texas, Charles Hairgrove of Dallas, Texas, Bob Hairgrove of Dallas, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Beaty Funeral Home, P.O. Box 209, Mineola, Texas. Memorial Service will be at Lake Country Bible Church at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 28, 2008 , Rev. Craig Lacy officiating.
