Billy Charles Terry, age 78, of Allen, Texas, died Thursday, August 23, 2012 in McKinney, Texas. He was born on Wednesday, March 21, 1934 in Vivian, Louisiana to the late William and Mattie Terry. He was an Accountant for the Comptroller's Office and a member of Holly Brook Baptist Church. He will be remembered as a loving Father and Grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Lynn Terry; and a son, Rusty Terry.

He is survived by a daughter, Kendel Srader and husband Nolan of Allen, Texas; a brother, Jerry Terry of Linden, Texas; a sister, Bobbie Surratt of Gainesville, Texas; and two grandchildren, Cole Srader and Kaleigh Srader.

Funeral services for Mr. Terry will be held at Holly Brook Baptist Church at Holly Lake Ranch on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM with visitation an hour prior. Dr. Jim Wright and Rev. Larry Taylor will officiate.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
