Birdie Opal Hathcoat

Mrs. Birdie Opal Hathcoat passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the age of 86. She was born on July 9, 1922 to the late Jessie Duncan and Tommie Wright Duncan. Mrs. Hathcoat was retired from the Whispering Pines Nursing Home in Winnsboro after twenty years of service. She was preceded in death her parents, husband, four brothers, three sisters and one grandson, Jesse Johnson. Survivors include son, Carl Mathison of Winnsboro; daughter, Barbara Moore of Scroggins; sisters, Johnnie Carlisle of Little Field and Naomi Creel of Goliad; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren
