Birtie Massingill

Birtie F. Day Wilkins Massingill, age 93, went to be with her Savior, on Thursday, June 6, 2013 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on Saturday, June 7, 1919 Prairieville, Texas to the late Oscar and Etta Mae Day. She attended Holy Ghost Central Church and was a member of the VFW.

She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Pete Massingill; a son, Edward Campbell; a daughter, Virginia Campbell; three brothers; and one sister.

She is survived by two sisters, Nola Faye Day London and Ruthie Mae Day London both of Eagletown, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Darlene Campbell McMoran of Little Rock, Arkansas and Dana Campbell Reagan of Conroe, Texas; two great-grandchildren; and three great, great-grandchildren;

Visitation for Ms. Massingill will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas on Friday, June 14, 2013 from 6 – 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Rick Childers officiating.

Interment will follow at Pilgrim's Rest #2 Cemetery in Alba, Texas.
