B.J. Moore, 85 of Winnsboro, Texas died on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Whispering Pines Care Center in Winnsboro, Texas.

Born Wednesday, June 25, 1924 in Winnsboro, Texas, he was the son of the late Robert Moore and the late Lois Coreen Stone Moore. He.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II. He was retired from the AK Steel Company in Houston after many years of service, and a lifetime member of the Winnsboro VFW.

Surviving are daughter, Patrecia Harrison, brother, L.D. Moore and wife Betty of Houston, TX.

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Cypress Cemetery located at Franklin County, Texas Franklin County, Texas with the Pastor Eldon Hamilton officiating. Interment will be in Cypress Cemetery, Franklin County, TX.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Beaty Funeral Home , 816 W. Broadway, Winnsboro, Texas.
