Bobbie Louise Powell

Bobbie L. Powell, began her new journey in Heaven on November 22, 2021. She was born on October 22, 1951, in Winnsboro to the late M.B. and Fannie Mae (Suiter) Wetzel. Bobbie above all else loved her family being sure to take care of them above anything else. She loved preparing meals and providing her husband and children a good home. Mrs. Powell was an extremely proud Grandma to all her babies. She loved tinkering in her rose garden and growing beautiful flowers. Bobbie was also an avid collector of glassware. Mrs. Powell retired due to health reasons as the office manager for Gilmer Care Center. She is survived by the love of her life husband James Powell; son Mike Powell and wife Pam, Kerry Powell and wife Kimberly; daughter Miranda Powell and husband Darius Troth; grandchildren Hunter Powell, Hannah Clary and husband Justin, Tanner Morris, Courtney Powell, Kameron Powell, Lavinia Troth, Oliver Troth, and Elias Troth; brothers R.K. Wetzel, Raymond Wetzel and wife Carolyn, Milton Wetzel, Johnny Wetzel and wife Judy. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Justin Powell; sisters Nelda Deishler and Edna Nelson. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 26th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Willard Cemetery. Hunter Powell, Kameron Powell, Justin Clary, Darius Troth, Carson Watson, and Dale Wetzel will serve as a pallbearers.
