Tyler Messimer

Brandon Tyler Messimer, known affectionately as Tyler, passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 39. He was born on February 5, 1985, in Tyler, Texas, and grew up in Winnsboro, Texas.

Tyler was lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Winnsboro and a proud 2003 graduate of Winnsboro High School, where he was a member of the 2001 Winnsboro Red Raider Playoff Football Team, a memory he cherished throughout his life. After high school, Tyler pursued a career in restaurant management, where his dedication and work ethic were evident to all who knew him.

Tyler is survived by his loving family: his grandmother, Marlene Messimer of Winnsboro; his father, Buddy Messimer of Dallas; his mother and stepfather, Debby and John White of Winnsboro; his brothers, Seth Messimer and his wife, Jenny of Winnsboro, and Adam Messimer of Dallas; his sisters, Lacy LeVee and her husband, Brandan of Sheridan, Wyoming, and Josie White of Winnsboro; his niece, Marlee Messimer; and his nephews, Rylan Phillips and Brooks LeVee.

Tyler’s life was marked by his deep love for his family, kind heart, and his lasting friendships. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
