Brenda Sue Davis

Brenda Sue Davis age 75 of Mineola,Texas peacefully passed away on July 18, 2023, after a brief illness. She was born May 30, 1948 in Dallas,Texas to Edith and Clarence Smith. Brenda was a 1966 graduate of Grady Spruce High School in Dallas and married Winston Leroy Davis in 1969.

Brenda lived a fulfilling life as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her all-time favorite pastime was buying and selling antiques. She loved taking care of her family and spending time with them was something she loved to do as well. She was so very proud of her children and grandchildren. Brenda will always be remembered for treating everyone with kindness and respect. Her presence will be missed by all who loved her.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Winston Leroy Davis of Mineola, Texas; daughter, Jana Davis Elliott and husband John of Caddo Mills, Texas; son Bryan Eric Davis of Mineola, Texas; grandson, Grant Freeman of San Diego, California; granddaughter, Lauren Freeman of Rockwall, Texas; sister, Anna Lowery of Dallas, Texas and Lawanna Reynolds of Houston, Texas. Brenda also had many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Clarence Smith of Canton, Texas.

A celebration of Brenda's life will be held 2:00 pm July 22, 2023 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas. A visitation with family and friends will take place one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Brenda will be laid to rest at Hoover Cemetery in Big Sandy,Texas following the services.
