Brenda Fay Garst

Mrs. Brenda Fay Garst, age 58 of Saltillo, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014 in Mt. Pleasant. Brenda was born in Toms River, NJ. on July 8, 1955 to Larry C. Bellew and Phyllis Marie Brahn Bellew. She was formerly a purchasing agent for Diamond C Trailers in Mt. Pleasant, office manager for DJK Trucking in Sulphur Springs, before owning and operating Garst Farm. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry C. Bellew. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Dean "J.D." Garst of Saltillo; mother, Phyllis Bellew Spooner of Holton, KS.; sons, Shain Anderson and wife Brook of Cypress Springs, Jeremiah Anderson of Corpus Christi, Chad Grace and wife Brandy of Little Rock, AR.; brothers, Spencer Bellew and wife Debbie of Womigo, KS., Kevin Bellew and wife Jeannie of Mooreton, ND., Craig Bellew of Holton, KS., Greg Bellew and wife Vera of Topeka, KS.; sisters, Belinda Detoro of Mt. Vernon, Pam Spooner of Topeka, KS., Candy Brubaker and husband Jim of Mt. Joy, PA.; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
