Brenda G. Turnbo

Brenda G. Nichols Turnbo, age 66 of Crosby, succumbed to sepsis and left to be with the good Lord on Monday, April 25th, 2016 in Humble. Brenda was born on March 18th, 1950 to the late John and Edna Romine Nichols. Brenda retired from the Federal Court System in downtown Houston. Her loves in life were music, playing the piano and spending time with her family. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, Johnny and Arthur Nichols, sister Janice Nagle, and nephew John Winbush. She is survived by her husband, Robert”Bobby” Turnbo, Sr. of Crosby; children, Steven Rice and wife Lisa of Mont Belvieu, Kevin Rice of Austin, Brian Rice and wife Candace of Huffman, Jason Turnbo and wife Leslie of Houston; grandchildren, Chris, Kaitlin, Taryn, Nikki, Kristy, Brian Jr., Brent, Cason, Brenlee, and Tucker; great-grandchildren, Haden, Addison, Kinsley and “one on the way”; siblings, Laura, Don, and Laticia. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro; funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Little Hope Baptist Church, with interment immediately following at Little Hope Cemetery in Wood County.
