Carl Preston Holmes

Mr. Carl Preston Holmes passed away on Friday, February 5, 2010, at the age of 74. He was born on December 1, 1935 in Wood County, Texas to the late Clyde Woodrow Holmes and Rebecca Marie Barber Holmes. Carl worked with the Winnsboro News as a deliveryman of the papers. He also was the custodian for White's Family Hair Care in Winnsboro, and was a member of the Winnsboro Church of Christ. Survivors include, bothers, Hermon Holmes and Troy Holmes of Winnsboro; sisters, Betty Holmes and Mary Frances Fulmer of Winnsboro; six nephews, five nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
