Carolann (Mallard) Conley, 92, of Denton, Texas passed away on September 16, 2019. Mrs. Conley was born on November 20, 1926 in Anderson, Texas to Terrell and Gussie (Vestal) Mallard, both who preceded her in death. Carolann graduated from Kilgore College and was a Kilgore Rangerette. Carolann met the love of her life Major C. (Doc) Conley and the two were united in marriage in January of 1947. She was a 20 year resident of Winnsboro and while there was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Carolann served as MYF director and played the piano for them. She served as a Cub Scout Leader and was active in Autumn Trails Pageant. Carolann and husband, Doc, moved to Greenville in 1968 and were members of Ridgecrest Baptist Church all the years they were in Greenville. Mrs. Conley had lived in Denton for the last ten years after the death of her husband.. She was a homemaker and great cook who loved with all her heart entertaining friends and family. Carolann was preceded in death by her husband Major C. (Doc) Conley, sons John and Steve and brother Terrell Butler Mallard. Mrs. Conley is survived by her son Scotty Conley and daughter-in-law Glenda of Lantana, Texas, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
