Carolyn Louise Broom July 23, 1948 - October 26, 2024, Carolyn was born in Mineola, Texas, on July 23, 1948. Her greatest joy in life was taking care of her husband, kids and grandkids. She enjoyed traveling and seeing new places, Disney cruises, and watching the Texas Rangers. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.


Carolyn was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She served twice as Past Matron of Mineola Chapter 434 and served as Grand Adah for the State of Texas Grand Chapter OES.


Carolyn passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on October 26, 2024.


Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Edna Walker; her brother, Carl Walker, Jr.; and her daughters, Mary Elizabeth and Margaret Anne. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Glenn; her sons, Chris and his wife Theresa, Michael and his wife Amie, Stephen and his wife Cortni; her grandchildren, Austin, Maria, Shelbie, Peyton, Emily and Avery; and her sisters, Seal, Cathy and Cindy.
