Carolyn Rushing

Mrs. Carolyn Jarred Rushing, age 64 of Winnsboro, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2007 in Greenville. She was born on March 28, 1943 to the late R.G. and Opal Mullins Jarred in the Stout Community. She married Mr. Truman Rushing on October 19, 1963 at the Shady Grove Church. She was a homemaker, and a member of Pine Street Baptist Church. She was an excellent cook and an even better "Ma" to her four grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Truman Rushing of Winnsboro; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Colleen Rushing of Longview; two daughters, Gina Rushing of Greenville, Tina Rushing of Longview; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Jeanette Jarred of Winnsboro; sister, Shirley Jarred of Fairfield; four grandchildren, Hayden Rushing, Taylor Rushing, Avery Waits, and Emma Rushing.
