Carolynn Brown

Mrs. Carolynn Mahaffey Brown, age 85 of Mineola, passed away on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 in Lindale. She was born on December 21st, 1933 in Sentinal, Oklahoma, to the late George Mahaffey and Nettie McBroom Mahaffey. She was a retired Systems Analyst for J.C. Penny and was a member of Broad Street Church of Christ in Mineola. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry Brown , son, Russell Brown and brother Pick Mahaffey. She is survived by her sons, Randall Brown and his wife Barbara of Mineola and Raalen Brown and his wife Kim of Spring Valley, MN, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Cedar Memorial Gardens in Mineola, with Travis Brown, Mike Mahaffey, Ray Hunter and David French.
