Carroll Wayne Sandifer

Carroll Wayne Sandifer was born on January 7th, 1943, to Carl Sandifer and Jessie Irene Jones Sandifer.
He went home to be with the Lord on July 26 th , 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers
Lavon, Leverett, and Kenneth, and sister Imogene Robertson.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Julia“Judy” Hammond Sandifer, children Lisa, Michael and his wife Rebekah, and Daniel, and grandchildren James, Luke, and Emily. He was a dedicated member of Rose Hill Baptist Church, and he was an
employee of Brookshire’s Grocery Company for over 50 years.
Carroll Wayne was a hard-working man who loved and provided for his family. He loved God and had a
concern for the spiritual lives of others. He was well known in the community because of his friendly
personality and willingness to help others. There weren’t many “strangers” in his life as he was able to
relate to people from different cultures and backgrounds. Carroll Wayne was loved by many, and he will
be greatly missed.
“For by grace are you saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works
lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
