Chad Courtney Capehart, born on August 21, 1976, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, peacefully passed away on January 25, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He was the beloved son of Kenneth Douglas Capehart and Janis Richey Crosby.
Chad grew up in Winnsboro, Texas, and attended Winnsboro High School and Texas A&M Commerce. In his professional journey, Chad took over operation of Capehart Concrete from his beloved granddad, Bro. Marvin Capehart and also contributed his skills to A.E.S. Drilling Fluids.
Devoted to his faith, Chad was an active member of Pine Street Baptist Church, where he found solace and community. He lived his life with an open heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Chad found joy in various hobbies and activities, including golfing, camping, and his love for cooking and savoring delicious meals. Above all, his greatest source of happiness was spending quality time with his children, cheering them on in their sports endeavors.
On March 11, 2000, Chad entered into a loving union with Amanda Whitter. Together, they created a beautiful family, including their daughter, Keltie Capehart, and son, Camden Capehart. Chad is survived by his devoted wife, Amanda, and his loving children.
Cherishing his memory are his mother and step-father, Janis and Bill Crosby of Lindale; brother, Chris Capehart, and his wife, Liz, of Frisco; sister, Sunni Chea Koustoubardis of Lindale; mother and father-in-law, Connie and Rodney Whitter of Winnsboro; brother-in-law, Blake Whitter, and his wife, Madie, of Midland; sister-in-law, Tamra McKlveen, and her husband, Ryan, of Wylie. Chad also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Chad is preceded in death by his father, Doug Capehart, whose memory will be honored alongside Chad's in the hearts of family and friends.
A celebration of Chad's life will take place, where family and friends will come together to share stories, laughter, and the enduring love they feel for a man who touched the lives of so many. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home with Donnie Chamberlian officiating.
Chad's legacy will live on through the memories of those whose lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
