Charles Glyn Mcdougald

Charles Glyn McDougald, 96, of Mineola, Texas passed away on August 10, 2023 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on April 2, 1927 to the late Virgil "Bud" McDougald and Lorene Carlisle McDougald. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Mineola, Texas where served as an usher for many years. He had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid and expert hunter and fisherman. He was involved in youth baseball for many years and made a positive impact on the lives of many young men.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Gloria June McDougald; two brothers, Jimmy McDougald and Douglas McDougald.

He is survived by two sons, James McDougald and wife Chris and Jason Redding and wife Mindy of Mineola; daughter, Elaine Dower and husband Gary of Tyler, Texas; three grandchildren , Jacob McCaslin, Lara McDougald and Claire McDougald; two great grandchildren, Calem Redding and Canyon Redding.
