Charles Richard Rousseau

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Charles Richard Rousseau, who was born on November 16, 1934, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Charles departed this life on August 13, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and unwavering dedication that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Charles was a proud alumnus of Carnegie Tech with a degree in chemistry, dedicating his fruitful career to the aerospace industry. He made considerable contributions to esteemed companies such as Boeing, Rockwell, Heath Techna, Allegany Ballistics Laboratory, the Mellon Institute, and Avco. His innovative spirit and commitment to excellence shone brightly during his professional journey, earning him the admiration and respect of colleagues and friends alike.

Charles was a very devoted family man, who put the well being of his loved ones above all else. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alice Rousseau, his sons Ken and Scott Rousseau, and daughter Ruth Ann Rousseau, as well as daughters-in-law Leslie Paxton-Rousseau and Kitty Rousseau. His family also includes his son-in-law Gilbert Garcia and his adored grandchildren: Danielle Rowland, Jacqueline Morphet, Monique Shaner, Whitney Kohler, Adam Rousseau, Juliette Rousseau, and Megan Boyce. Charles also left behind great grandchildren, Alexander, Madeleine, Charlotte, Kanaan, Samantha, Ezekiel, Kendall, Danny, Mason, and Carson.

We invite family and friends to honor Charles's remarkable life at the funeral service at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro, Tx at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 22nd, where we will gather to share our cherished memories of Charles.

Though we mourn the loss of Charles Richard Rousseau, we celebrate a life well-lived, his countless achievements, and the love he spread to those around him. May his spirit continue to inspire and comfort us all.
