Charles H. Smith

Charles H. "Chuck" Smith, 59, passed away on October 5, 2012 at his home in Gilmer. He was born on September 4, 1953 in Dallas, Texas.

Chuck was brought home to Allen, Texas where he lived until he graduated from Allen High School in 1971. He was voted Mr. AHS his Junior year and voted Most Handsome his Senior year. Chuck worked as a carpenter his entire adult life.

Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Brooks Smith; his father, John D. Smith and his brother, Rick Smith.

He is survived by his brother, Ronny Smith and his wife Cathy of Parker, Texas; sister, Phyllis Morris and her husband Larry of Eustace, Texas; sister, Beverly Dill and her husband Larry of Garland, Texas; aunt, Lynda Caplinger of Allen, Texas; uncle, H.C. Brooks of Tom Bean, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
