Charles Lee Turner

Charles "Charlie" Lee Turner, age 85 of Winnsboro, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 22, 2014. Charlie was born in Dallas on November 5, 1928 to the late Albert Lee and Alice Summers Turner. He was retired from the floor covering industry, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Jo Galloway Turner of Winnsboro; son, Galen Birdsong and wife Elena of Winnsboro; daughter, Cindy Weems and husband Kenny of Winnsboro; grandchildren, John Birdsong, Robin Acker, Will Villalobos, Alex Villalobos, Stephanie Hesley, and Ben Weems; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
