Charles Darren Yates

Pvt. Charles "Chuck" Darren Yates, age 20, of Winnsboro, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007 in Destin, FLorida. He was born in Sulphur Springs on June 29, 1986 to Charles and Charlene Miller Yates. He was a Winnsboro High School graduate Class of 2004, where he was on the football and track squad. He was serving in the United States Army, training to be an EOD Specialist. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Charlie Miller. He is survived by his parents, Charles and Charlene Yates of Winnsboro; brother, David Krantz of New Boston; sister, April Krantz of Winnsboro; grandparents, Charles Sr. and Nina Yates of Quitman, Temple Miller of Winnsboro; great-grandmother, Velma Lindley of Quitman; three nieces, Lainee and Timber Chadwell, and Rylie Krantz; numerous aunts and uncles.
