Charley B Ragan

Mr. Charley B. Ragan, age 87 of Winnsboro, passed away, Wednesday, May 5, 2008 in Winnsboro. He was born in Hopkins County to the late Charley and Bell Wilcox Ragan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II, and attended Cornerstone Church of Mt. Vernon. He married Gertrude Hart on March 15, 1943 in Pickton. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Gertrude Ragan of Winnsboro; son, Ruford Ragan and wife Sandra of Lipan; daughter, Patsy Richmond and husband Paul of Roanoke; two brothers, Bill Ragan and wife Jean of Lufkin, Dalton Ragan and wife Selma of Garland; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
