Charlotte Beth Green
September 9,1945 – March 12, 2025
Those of us still here feel blessed to have known and shared life with Charlotte Beth (Osbourn) Green, who touched our souls in so many ways. Charlotte passed away at the age of 79 in Mineola, Texas. Although Charlotte has fulfilled her purpose on this earth, her memory will be everlasting. Charlotte was known for her love of horses, dogs
and cooking.
Charlotte was born on September 9, 1945, and grew up and went to school in Quitman, Texas. She was so full of life, wild at heart and had a special talent for finding the humor in any circumstance. She woke up every day knowing it could be her last and as expected, gallantly fought that battle head on. She did so, not without fear or suffering, but with a strength that many of us marveled at. She lived a courageous life, never yielding to the limitations placed upon her by multiple
Myeloma. She was so brave. But more than anything, she was fun. She knew perhaps better than anyone, how to live free, with vigor and always a laugh no one will ever forget.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 42 years, James “Jim” Green; brothers, Joe Collins, Charles Edward Osbourn, Danny Ray Osbourn, and Bobby Dale Osbourn.
She is survived by sons, Jimmy Green and wife Tresa of Frisco, TX and Randy Green and wife Jennifer of Austin, TX; daughter, Dee Hennigan and husband, Sean of Plano; brother, William Henry Osbourn and wife Bonnie of GA; sister, Lynda Fern Osbourn Warren and husband Joe of Emory, TX; brothers, Ricky Lee Osbourn of Mineola, TX, and Larry Don Osbourn and wife Suzanne of Mineola, TX; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
