Chloee Nell Flournoy

Chloee Nell Hitt Flournoy, age 95, of Hainesville, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 in Mineola, Texas. Chloee was born on June 8, 1928 in Grand Saline, Texas, to Milton and Exa Hitt.

She trusted in Jesus at an early age and fiercely loved her family. She loved living in Hainesville where she lived alone until she was 93. For the last few years, she lived with Larry and Susie in Mineola.

She worked before marrying and loved talking to and helping people; however, she gladly gave that up to be married and have children. She loved family vacations every summer and she loved to sew. She would make matching outfits for her girls and would occasionally make a matching one for herself!

Chloee was preceded in death 21 years ago by her husband, Thomas Asa Flournoy.

Survivors include 3 daughters and sons in-law, Cathy and Mack Board of Pittsburg, TX; Mary and Larry Williamson of Longview, TX; Susie and Larry Wisdom of Mineola, TX; Grandchildren include Jenny and Sandy Hoover of Harleton, TX; Tommy Board of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Ricky and Amy Board of Atlanta, GA; Ryan and Storie Curran of Little Rock, AR; Rachel and Spencer Starkey of Houston, TX; Stephanie Williamson of Houston, TX; Elizabeth and Jacob Pruitt of Ft. Worth, TX; Susannah and Josh Cole of Dallas, TX and 13 great grand children.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Hainesville Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Dr Sandy Hoover and Bro. Terry Davis will be officiating. Burial will be at Concord Cemetery.
