Christine Lyn Lott (Lott)

Christine Lyn Lott, born on January 22, 1967, in Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, at the age of 58. She is preceded in death by her father, Travis Lott; her mother, Patricia Ann Ryan; and her stepfather, Donald Cleatus Ledford.

A proud graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Christine dedicated her life to teaching and had a special place in her heart for children with special needs. She found great fulfillment in helping her students grow and succeed.

Christine’s love for her family was unwavering. She found joy in cooking and sharing meals with those she cherished. Being part of a blended family was something she deeply valued, and she greatly loved her brothers and sisters.

Above all, Christine's greatest act of love was ensuring the best possible life for her daughter. Due in part to her struggles with mental illness, she made the difficult decision to place her for adoption, wanting her to have every opportunity for happiness and stability. This choice was made from a place of immense love, and her daughter remained in her heart always.

She is survived by her devoted sister, Amy Lott; brothers Ryan Ledford (Sarah), Don Ledford (Debbie), and Ronnie Ledford; sisters Teresa Ledford and Melissa Henderson; and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Christine’s kindness, warmth, and love for her family and community will never be forgotten. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
