Christopher James Griffin

Christopher James Griffin, 18, of Mineola, TX died on Sunday, June 15, 2014 in Mineola. He was born on Thursday, March 9, 1995 in Riverside, CA to James Harold and Melissa Ann Reuvers Griffin.

Christopher was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Mineola. He was a 2014 graduate of Mineola High School and played football. Chris aspired to go to the military after graduating. Family and friends remember Chris as loving his niece, having an infectious smile, willing to listen to his sister for hours, working to get the job done, being funny and being dependable.

He is survived by his parents; James and Melissa Griffin of Mineola, TX; nine brothers and sisters, James Harold Griffin Jr. Adrian Emil Price, Derrik Henry Toese Griffin, Taylor Kiara Griffin, Kaleb Johnathan Griffin, Nathaniel Elijah Griffin, Alisa Laquita Turner, Etois Lafay Griffin, and Isaiah Lowden Griffin.

Visitation will be at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 304 Stone St. in Mineola on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 10-11:00 AM. Funeral service will follow at 11:00AM officiated by Rev. Demethrius Boyd.
