CLARA STEPHENS NELSON

We are saddened by the loss of Clara Stephens Nelson on September 7th, 2022. She was born on April 17th, 1955 in Vernon, TX to Carl and Ida Stephens in which she is proceeded in death by as well as her husband of 20 years Michael Joe Nelson. She left behind her only daughter Brandy Bryant, Grandson’s Christopher Lee Bryant Jr. (Fred) and Brandon Michael Bryant (hub) and a Great-Granddaughter Payton Gracelynn Bryant. Along with the greatest gift she had been given her dog Harley Maxwell Nelson. She is survived by her sister Dolores Winkle and her better-half Clyde Folmer, and 2 brothers Carl Wayne Stephens and wife Rose, Bobby Stephens and wife Tammy, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was with USA Harness/Optronics since she moved here to be close to her sister. She had also retired from Chevron/Phillips in Conroe, TX before moving up here.

There will be a Celebration of her life held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1st, 2022, at Dolores Winkle’s house @ 290 County Road 4426, Winnsboro, TX 75494.
