Clara Jane Tiner

Mrs, Clara Jane Tiner, age 82, of Winnsboro, passed away in her sleep in the early hours of Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at her home. She was born on April 23, 1930 in Wood County to the late Louis Carl "Bill" Busby and Mattie Lou McCowan Busby. She married Freeman Gerald Tiner on June 21, 1946, he preceded her on August 11, 1994; also preceding her in death, sister, Claudette Metcalf; brother, Johnny Busby; and great-grandson, Sean Tiner. She is survived by her son, Gerald Lynn Tiner of Winnsboro; daughter, Carolyn Mayo of Winnsboro; sisters, Dorothy Noble, Vernice Weems, Billie Harris all of Winnsboro, and Patricia Carpenter of Irving; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
