Clarence Eugene Miller

Mr. Clarence "Gene" Miller Jr., age 83, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2005, in Winnsboro. Gene was born on August 4, 1923 in Youngstown, OH., to the late Clarence E. Sr., and Leitha Meeker Miller. He was a retired banker from the Swiss Ave. Bank in Dallas, and the associate pastor at Tinneys Chapel United Methodist Church in Winnsboro. He was a member of Flora Masonic Lodge in Quitman, and the Edwin J. Kiest Masonic Lodge in Dallas, he was also a District Deputy for the Grand Lodge of Texas in 1983. He was a past president of the East Dallas Chamber of Commerce, and the East Dallas Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Bill Eastman. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Doris Beadles Miller of Winnsboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy Lin and Ron Abney of Sugarland; two step-sons, Robert Greene and wife Dixie of Indio, CA., Michael Greene and wife Dawnell of Indio, CA.; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
