Clarence Ray Nixon

Mr. Clarence Ray Nixon passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the age of 67. He was born on December 20, 1940 to the late Delbert Ray Nixon and Vela Ritchey Nixon. Mr. Nixon worked for the Texas State Board of Insurance as a State Examiner. He was a member of the Pine Street Baptist Church in Winnsboro, where he served as a Deacon and was a member of the Society of Financial Examiners. Mr. Nixon was preceded in death by his parents and his infant grandchildren twins. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mrs. Margie Nixon of Como; daughter, Shannon Carney of Rowlett, son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Ray and Shannon Leigh Nixon of Garland; sister, Jo Nel Hightower of Canton and four grandchildren, Kristi Carney, Kaylee Carney, Jordan Nixon and Hannah Nixon.
