Clarice Aureen Evans

Clarice Aureen Evans, age 97, died Sunday, October 20, 2013, in Mineola, Texas. She was born on Saturday, January 22, 1916, in Provo, Arkansas, to the late Williams and Sophia Walters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C.R. Evans, Sr.

She is survived three sons, C.R. Evans, Jr. and wife Sandra of Overton, Texas, Charles Evans and wife Lydia of Mineola, Texas, Fred Evans and wife Andra of Benbrook, Texas; daughter, Susan Bartley and husband Joe of Plano, Texas; sister, Elaine Hall of Boca Raton, Florida; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great- grandchildren.

Visitations for Mrs. Evans will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola from 6-8 PM. Services for Mrs. Evans will be at First Baptist Church in Mineola on Thursday October 24, 2013, at 11:00 AM with Dr. Mark Neeley and Dr. Jeremy A. Evans officiating. Family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to First Baptist Church or Mineola Public Library.
