Clarice Jean Pendley

Clarice Jean Barnett Pendley, 80, of Mineola, TX died on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in Tyler. She was born on Wednesday, September 27, 1933 in Mineola, TX to the late Clarence and Vida Barnett.

Clarice graduated from Mineola High School on October 12, 1951.She married her husband Billy and moved to Dallas and went to work for Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance where she worked for forty seven years. On her bucket list was to travel all fifty states, which she accomplished in 2002, making Alaska the last one, plus several foreign countries.

She is preceded in death by his parents. She is survived by her husband; Billy Ray “Pinto” Pendley of Mineola, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Friday January 31, 2014 from 6-8 PM. Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on February 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Craig Lacy.
