Claudine Oxford Woodard

Claudine, age 88 of Winnsboro, went to be with her Lord and savior on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at her home. Claudine was born on February 25 1924 in Quitman, Texas. Claudine is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, H.L. Woodard; a nephew, Bill Harris of Wylie, Texas; and numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Viola Hudspeth Oxford, and father, Richard J. Oxford. Claudine was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Mineola. Claudine was a Co-operative weather observer for the National Weather Service for over 55 years. Services will be Wednesday the 28th at 2:00 P.M. at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel, Visitation Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Services officiated by Bro. Fred Morrow and Bro. Michael Mize, burial will follow at Sharon Cemetery.
