Clifford Goodson

Mr. Clifford Goodson of Mineola, Texas passed away December 2, 2006 at the age of 87. He was born May 27, 1919 to the late Thomas Goodson and the late Amy (Davis) Goodson in Palestine, Texas. He lived in Mineola for about 50 years and was a member of the Broad Street Church of Christ. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a retired Mail Carrier for the United Postal Service, a member of the American Legion post #296, and a member of the Letter Carriers Association. He is preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Gladys Goodson. He is survived by three brothers, Roy Raymond Goodson of Baytown, Texas, Frank T. Goodson of Jacksonville, Texas, and Lloyd Earl Goodson of Hemphill, Texas; two sisters, Ida Lee Parkman of Palestine, Texas and Elvira McCall of Crockett, Texas; one aunt, Grace Davis Kraus of Palestine, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
