Cordell Bradford, born on September 15, 1939, to the late William and Loucile Bradford, peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones. Raised on a cotton farm in Leonard, Texas, Cordell developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the simpler things in life.
In 1958, Cordell answered the call of duty and joined the United States Army, where he served as a wheeled vehicle mechanic in Germany. His service was marked by dedication and a steadfast commitment to his fellow soldiers.
On September 14, 1962, Cordell married his soul mate, Jeannie Bridges. Their union was blessed with three children: Teresa Horton, Vickie Campana, and Dale Bradford. Cordell was a devoted husband and father, known for his unwavering love and support for his family.
Cordell was a true handyman, possessing the remarkable skill to fix any problem that arose. He had a passion for fishing, a love for guns, and a special bond with his loyal dog, Scotter.
Cordell is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie Bradford; daughter, Teresa Horton; daughter, Vickie Campana, and her husband, Joe Campana; sisters, Diane Small, Judy Ventrca, and Kathy Baugh; grandchildren, Matt Campana, Scott Campana, and Zach Campana; and great-grandchildren, Ada Campana and Eleni Campana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Loucile Bradford; his son, Dale Bradford; and his brother, Larry Bradford.
Cordell's legacy is one of hard work, devotion to family, and a life well-lived. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
