C.W. Elston

Mr. C.W. (Bill) Elston, age 97 of Mineola, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in Mineola. He was born on February 22, 1924 in Davenport, Iowa to the late Valentine Wesley Elston and Kate Ince Elston.
Bill was a retired Accountant, member of First United Methodist Church of Mineola and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He is survived by his loving wife of seventy-six years, Louise Dawson Elston; daughter, Elizabeth (Betsy) Snethen of Corinth, Texas; sons, Robin Elston and his wife, Brenda Adams Elston of Bedford, Texas and Richard Dawson Elston of Mineola, Texas; grandchildren, Kathy Snethen Isaacs and her husband, Brian of Clermont, Florida, Staff Sgt. David Snethen and his wife, Jennifer of Converse, Texas, Stacey Elston George and her husband Greg of Bedford, Texas, Lindsay Elston Askins and her husband, Dustin of Issaquah, Washington, Leslie (Amber) Snethen of Corinth, Texas, Trevor Elston of Seattle, Washington, Joshua Elston of Mineola, Texas and 13 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at First United Methodist Church of Mineola at 2:00 pm, Rev. Paul Thomasson conducting.
