Dalton Lee Reed

Mr. Dalton Lee Reed, age 82 of Winnsboro, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. Dalton was born on August 17, 1932 to the late Fred and Ethel Polson Reed. He was retired from the Dallas Fire Department, Station 8, after 27 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War, he was also a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church in Winnsboro. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Rowe Burton Reed. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mrs. Carolyn Faye (Wright) Reed of Winnsboro; two sons, Russell Lee Reed and wife Danna of Winnsboro, Ron Reed and wife Misty of Royce City; one daughter, Linda Carol Hendrex and husband Anthony of Evergreen, CO.; a brother, Marvin Vernon Reed and wife Helen of Georgetown, IN.; a sister, Lois Lucille Neustupa of Scurry; ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
