It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniel Lee Wheeler, born on February 22, 1975, in Longview, Texas. Daniel, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, departed this life on August 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Daniel resided in Winnsboro, Texas, where he formerly worked diligently as a Butter Churn Operator for Dairy Farmers of America. He was a dedicated employee, known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his craft.
Daniel was not only a diligent worker but also a passionate enthusiast in various hobbies. He cherished his time spent fishing and hunting, and he found joy in the meticulous pursuits of coin and sports card collecting. These interests reflected his vibrant personality and love for the great outdoors, which he often shared with his family.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Audra Wheeler, and his two sons, Tristan and Koltan Wheeler, and two stepdaughters, Rachel and Sonia Reyes, who will hold dear the memories of their father's unwavering support and love. He will also be remembered fondly by his brothers, James, Shane, and Shale Lemons. Daniel's legacy extends to his five beloved grandchildren, Jayda, Laila, Sofia, Olivia, and River, who brought immense joy to his life.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Sammy and Mary Wheeler.
A funeral service in honor of Daniel will take place on August 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Beaty Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro, Texas. Prior to the service, there will be a visitation for family and friends beginning at 1:00 PM. All who knew him are invited to celebrate his remarkable life and the impact he had on those around him.
