Danny Earl Drinning

Mr. Danny Earl Drinning, Sr. age 61 of Winnsboro passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at his home. Danny was born in Dallas on July 26, 1951 to the late Harry Lee Drinning, Sr. and Myrtle Jewel Nelson Drinning. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was a retired electrician. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harry L. Drinning, Jr., Gerald Drinning; a sister, Dellie Richardson. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Vickie Drinning of Winnsboro; son, Danny E. Drinning, Jr. of Winnsboro; daughter, Crystal Cawthorne and husband Andy of Eustace; step-son, Jon Eric Scudder of Forney; brothers, Roger Drinning and wife Annette of Combine, Kenneth Ray Drinning and wife Ellen of Wilmer; sisters, Linda Van Briggle and husband Johnny of Lively, Nelda Hewitt of Grand Saline; eight grandchildren, Zana, Kodi, Chelsea, Danielle, Kristen, Peyton, Ashley, Shawn, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Beaty Funeral Home 5396 S. State Hwy 37 Mineola, TX. Bro. Michael Waits, Sr. officiating.
